Spot illustration / portrait of „the first technology geek“ Johannes Gutenberg for an article by Jeff Jarvis. The assignment was to create a sort of pixel portrait of the man who invented letterpress printing in the 15th century. I wondered how I would do it in LineArt and from there transferred it into PixelArt. Depending on the success of the the very first German issue of WIRED magazine I hope there will be more to come.

  • Black & White / SOKO Stuttgart
Here's the process. The story, based on a screenplay of the German TV series "SOKO Stuttgart“, is about a teenager who draws kind of dark superhero comics. I was asked to do the drawings which will appear in some scenes in the final episode, to be broadcasted in autumn 2011. The boy’s room in this episode is also decorated with many comic pages I did some time ago.
